The 2010 ORMTA Student Competitions will be held on May 1 and 2, 2010 in Freiman Hall at the University of Ottawa. The Competitions Winners' Recital will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 7:30 pm at the Ottawa Mennonite Church, 1830 Kilborn Avenue. The recital will feature many of the winning performances from the Competitions.

The annual ORMTA, Ottawa Region Branch competitions have provided a vital stepping stone for performing careers of many fine musicians.
The following are the various entry classes:
Zone Instrumental (Grade 8 and/or 9)
Zone Vocal (Grade 7, 8 and/or 9)
Provincial Student Instrumental (Grade 10 and/or Associate)
Provincial Student Vocal (Grade 9 and/or above)
Young Artist (Associate and/or above)
Winners of our Provincial and Young Artist competitions go on to compete at the Provincial level. The winner of the Provincial Young Artist competition receives a tour hosted by various ORMTA branches.
